- Kyle McCord’s passing yard total is set at 323.5 with -114 odds.
- Eli Holstein has a 290.5 passing yard total.
PITTSBURGH – An ACC collision is set for Thursday Night College Football and a fun one at that with the #19 Pitt Panthers and Syracuse Orange where the QB props are looking at some serious value.
Eli Holstein has had Pitt rolling as of late but there is some shading towards his under while Kyle McCord has lit up every team he has played this season and there is no reason to believe he’ll slow down now.
McCord To Stay Hot & On Track
Kyle McCord Total Passing Yards
- Over 323.5 -114
- Under 323.5 -114
No matter where college football prop sites set McCord’s passing yard total, he has torched it week by week. Kyle McCord has been one of the top passers in the game with the seventh most passing yards in this season at 2,160.
From a betting standpoint, against a 323.5 yard total, he has cleared this number in every game this season. To make matters even better for McCord’s case is that he has thrown for 340+ in every game this year.
Also, looking at his receivers betting totals, Trebor Pena, Jackson Meeks, and Oronde Gadsen all have totals of 70+ yards with shades towards the over along with running back LeQuint Allen at a 42.5 receiving yard total.
Cautiously Fading Eli Holstein
Eli Holstein Total Passing Yards
- Over 290.5 -113
- Under 290.5 -115
As for Holstein, while he has the skill set to hit his over, there is caution, and leans towards the under. First is that he has stayed under in two of his last three games while he attempted less than 30 passes in each of those games.
The Syracuse passing defense has also been very solid this season allowing opposing QBs to throw for just 229.2 yards per game which ranks in the top half of the ACC. The Orange have also only allowed one QB this season to throw for over 290.5 passing yards at that.
College football betting sites are also low on the top two receivers for Pitt as well. Konata Mumpfield, the leading receiver for the Panthers, only has a 65.5 yard total while the second leading receiver, Kenny Johnson, is at 39.5.
