Mizzou is a slight favorite in this one, however, we're looking at the quarterback battle between Brady Cook and Brendan Sullivan in this matchup for the best bets on college football prop betting sites.
Tail Brady Cook One Last Time
Brady Cook Total Passing Yards
- Over 174.5 -115
- Under 174.5 -115
In Brady Cook’s final game for Mizzou, he is set up nicely to go over his projected yard total on college football sportsbooks against Iowa. Cook has gone over this mark in nine of 11 games this season and gets an Iowa defense that allowed a modest 196.1 passing yards per game.
Iowa has let up more than 174.5 passing yards in two of their last three games and could be without two of their top defensive backs in Jemari Harris and Sebastian Castro which should work in his favor.
Mizzou will also have most of their receiving core with the exception of Luther Burden who wasn’t even the leading pass catcher on their team. Theo Wease Jr., Brett Norfleet, Mookie Cooper, and Marquis Johnson will all be available for Cook to throw to.
That said, in an expected close game, Cook should let it rip one last time and cash the over.
Bet Brendan Sullivan Over On The Ground
Brendan Sullivan Total Rushing Yards
- Over 21.5 -115
- Under 21.5 -115
Brendan Sullivan is in as QB1 for Iowa as Cade McNamara has entered the transfer portal. That said, the stars are aligning for Sullivan to get some decent work on the ground. First off, Iowa’s workhorse back, Kaleb Johnson has opted out leaving plenty of work on the ground to make up for. Secondly, Mizzou is a top-3 team in the SEC against the pass and in the bottom half of the conference against the run which should force them to rely on their ground game.
Sullivan is also a decent runner. He is the fourth leading rusher on the team this season. He’s gone over in three games this year including two of his last three. Also, he’s seen 8+ carries in each of his last three games as well.
