- Will Howard has -136 odds to throw for over 1.5 touchdowns.
- Quinn Ewers passing yard total is set at 236.5 yards.
DALLAS – A heavy hitting matchup between the Ohio State Buckeyes and Texas Longhorns is set for the Cotton Bowl and both quarterbacks are expected to let it fly in this one.
Will Howard and Quinn Ewers both have value on college football prop betting sites for their totals and both of them have turned things up a notch in the playoffs as well.
Scores Keep Coming For Will Howard
Will Howard Passing Touchdown Total
- Over 1.5 -136
- Under 1.5 +104
Will Howard has been damn near unstoppable against a 1.5 passing touchdown total this season and his over on college football sportsbooks is free money up for grabs.
Howard has hit the over in 12 of 14 games this season including in both of the Buckeyes playoff games where he tossed for two and three touchdowns in those games.
The Ohio State offense has also just been clicking in the playoffs as they’ve scored 40+ points in both games with Will Howard throwing for 300+ yards in both games.
On the Texas side though, their defense has surely been tested in the postseason which should open things up for Howard to go over as well. In the Longhorns first game, Cade Klubnik threw for three touchdowns.
In the quarterfinal against Arizona State, after getting off to a 17-3 lead in the first half, they had a defensive collapse that allowed the Sun Devils to get back into the game and force overtime.
That said, with the questionable play from the Texas defense, Will Howard should have his way in this one hitting the over.
Ewers Passing Yards Stay High
Quinn Ewers Total Passing Yards
- Over 236.5 -114
- Under 236.5 -114
As much hate that comes Quinn Ewers way, there is no denying that he hasn’t stepped up his game since Texas’s Week 5 loss to Georgia and in these playoffs.
Since then, he’s gone over 236.5 passing yards in four of eight games including both in the SEC Championship in a rematch against Georgia and in the quarterfinal against Arizona State.
Texas is also being forced to throw more as their run game has been subpar as of late. Top-50 running back, Quintrevion Wisner, has stayed under 55 yards in two of Texas’ last three games while backup Jaydon Blue has stayed under 10 total rushing yards in both of those games as well.
