HONOLULU, Hawaii – The best player props for Boise State vs Hawaii are on Ashton Jeanty and Brayden Schager at Bovada.

Specifically, the over on the rushing yards prop for Ashton Jeanty (183.5 yards) and the over on the passing yards prop for Brayden Schager (247.5 yards).

Ashton Jeanty Rushing Yards Prop

There have rarely been college football player props for running backs with a line set as high as Ashton Jeanty’s this week. But, the Heisman Trophy frontrunner is a strong bet to go over the 183.5 yard total at Bovada for a few reasons:

  • Production this Season: Jeanty has rushed for over 1,000 yards this season in only five games. He is averaging over 10 yards per carry and has only rushed for less than 183.5 yards once this season. That was against Portland State, when he only got 11 carries which resulted in 127 rushing yards before he was pulled because the Broncos were up by so much.
  • Game Script: Boise State is favored by 20.5 points versus Hawaii. They have been favored by more than that twice, with the Broncos favored by at least 28 in both occasions. In those games, Jeanty has averaged 12 carries for 156.5 yards per game. In three games with Boise State favored by less than four scores or even as underdogs, Ashton Jeanty has averaged 23.6 carries for 269.3 yards. With a spread within three scores, it is a good bet that Ashton Jeanty will go over 183.5 rushing yards vs Hawaii given his likely increased workload.

Brayden Schager Passing Yards Prop

Many bettors may be only looking for Ashton Jeanty props versus Hawaii, but there may be a better option available from the same game.

Particularly, bettors should look at the over for Brayden Schager’s passing yards prop at Bovada which is set at 247.5 yards with -115 odds.

The two reasons to look at the bet on college football prop betting sites are Schager’s play recently and Boise State’s pass defense:

  • Schager has thrown for at least 250 yards in his last three games. He leads the Mountain West Conference in passing attempts and completions, which has helped him accumulate gaudy passing yard totals.
  • Boise State’s offense gets a lot of national attention due to Jeanty’s greatness, but that publicity fails to note that the offense has to be great given the team’s defensive struggles. Out of 134 FBS teams, Boise State gives up the 124th most passing yards per game and the 99th most points per contest. Both of those defensive stats suggest that Schager will be able to go over the 247.5-yard passing prop at Bovada.
